Duke Lutherans Weekly Activities

Worship: Sundays @ 5:30 pm in the York Room

Intimate, liturgical service with Communion followed by a home-cooked community dinner at 6 pm. All are welcome!

Food + Fellowship: Wednesdays from 11:30-1:30 @ West Union

Yes, there is such thing as a free lunch! Meet outside Au Bon Pain Each and bring some friends. Duke Lutherans picks up the tab.

Coffee Break: Thursdays from 10-11 am @ Twinnies (Pratt).

School is busy—take a break! Coffee on us.

Ordination Lunches: Feeling called to ministry? Navigating the ordination process? Join us for a monthly lunch at the Divinity School café to discuss the candidacy process and find support from Duke Lutherans staff and among Lutheran peers. See schedule for details.

Theology on Tap: At Martin Luther’s famous “Table Talks,” Marty and friends would gather for beer and lively theological conversation. We do the same at Theology on Tap, a monthly ecumenical gathering for grad students + young adults in the Durham community. See schedule for more information!

Who is our Neighbor? This question lies at the center of who we are and what we do as Lutherans. Join us as we explore what it means to live with, through, and for one another, as we live out our calling to be neighbors throughout the Duke and Durham community.

We are an inclusive, welcoming community.

All are welcome. Come join us!
